1. Introduction
TAPDX may from time to time offer customers additional benefits through referrals, promotions, activations, campaigns, purchases, customer participation and other qualifying activities.
These benefits may take different forms and may include discounts, promotional or reward credit, referral savings, referral rewards, complimentary products, gifts with purchase, additional products, bundle benefits, delivery benefits, early or Priority Access, event or activation benefits, workshop benefits and other promotional advantages offered by TAPDX.
These Terms establish the general rules that apply to TAPDX rewards, referrals and promotional benefits. They are designed to provide a consistent framework while allowing TAPDX to introduce and test different offers as the business develops.
The specific terms of a promotion will determine the benefit available under that promotion and what a customer must do to qualify for it.
Nothing in these Terms means that TAPDX is required to continue offering a particular reward, promotion, benefit, value or campaign indefinitely.
2. Different promotions may have different terms
TAPDX may operate different promotional offers at different times and for different commercial purposes. An offer may be made available to all customers or may be limited to particular products, customer groups, collections, events, locations, campaigns, partners or qualifying activities.
The relevant offer may specify the nature and value of the benefit, the products or services to which it applies, what a customer needs to do to qualify, when the offer begins and ends, any applicable redemption or validity period, any minimum purchase or order requirements, whether availability is limited, whether the benefit can be combined with another offer, and any other condition that is material to that promotion.
Where separate terms are published for a particular campaign, activation, referral programme, launch, bundle, event or promotional offer, those terms form part of the offer. If there is a direct inconsistency between the specific campaign terms and these general Terms, the specific campaign terms will apply to that campaign to the extent of the inconsistency.
TAPDX is not limited to the types of promotions specifically described in these Terms and may introduce different promotional structures or customer benefits in future.
3. Future promotions and commercial flexibility
TAPDX may introduce, change, extend, replace, suspend or end promotional offers from time to time and may change the conditions applicable to future offers.
A promotional offer that is available today does not become a permanent customer entitlement simply because TAPDX has previously offered it, repeated it, extended it or offered something similar to another customer or group of customers.
This means, for example, that TAPDX may change a future reward value, qualifying spend, free-delivery threshold, referral benefit, gift, campaign period, bundle structure or other promotional condition without creating an obligation to continue the previous offer indefinitely.
Changes to future offers will not ordinarily remove a promotional benefit that a customer has already validly earned under an existing offer. A benefit that has already been earned will remain subject to the conditions of the promotion under which it was earned, including any applicable validity period, redemption requirements, transaction reversal provisions, genuine error or misuse provisions.
4. Referral programmes
TAPDX may operate referral programmes designed to reward genuine customer advocacy and word of mouth.
Depending on the applicable referral offer, a benefit may be provided to the person making the referral, the person being referred, or both. Different referral campaigns may offer different benefits and TAPDX is not required to use the same referral value or reward structure for every campaign.
The applicable referral offer will explain what constitutes a qualifying referral and when any related benefit becomes available. Depending on the campaign, qualification may require the referred customer to follow the applicable referral journey, place an eligible order, complete payment or satisfy another stated condition.
Unless a particular campaign expressly provides otherwise, merely opening a referral link, visiting the TAPDX website, starting a checkout or creating an unpaid order does not by itself create an entitlement to a referral reward.
TAPDX may use referral links, referral codes, customer account information, transaction records and other reasonable mechanisms to identify and attribute a qualifying referral.
5. Genuine referrals and self-referral
TAPDX encourages customers to share TAPDX with friends, family, colleagues, business contacts, communities and other people who may genuinely find TAPDX useful.
Where a referral programme is intended to reward the introduction of another customer, a customer may not artificially create a referral to themselves by using another email address, duplicate account, false identity or similar method designed to make the same customer appear to be a newly referred customer.
The same qualifying transaction cannot generate multiple identical referral rewards merely because a referral link was opened more than once, checkout was restarted, a payment was retried, more than one claim was submitted or the same transaction generated more than one technical event.
These provisions are intended to protect genuine referrals and the integrity of the programme. They are not intended to restrict ordinary, legitimate sharing of TAPDX.
6. Rewards for customer participation
TAPDX may choose to reward qualifying activities other than purchases.
Depending on the particular campaign, a customer may be offered a benefit for an eligible referral, review, photograph, video, event or workshop participation, activation activity, campaign participation, repeat purchase, customer contribution or another clearly identified action.
Different activities may receive different benefits. A benefit offered for one activity does not establish a permanent value for that activity, and receiving a reward once does not mean that the same action will automatically qualify for the same reward in future.
The benefit associated with a particular activity will be determined by the applicable offer.
7. Gifts, complimentary products and additional products
TAPDX may from time to time offer gifts, complimentary products or additional products as part of a promotion. These may be linked to a qualifying purchase, qualifying spend, bundle, event, activation, launch, collection or other promotional condition.
The applicable offer will identify the qualifying activity and, where relevant, the gift or promotional product being offered.
Unless otherwise stated in the relevant offer or required by law, a complimentary product or promotional gift cannot be exchanged for cash and does not create an automatic entitlement to a different product merely because the customer would prefer another item.
Where a promotion involves genuinely limited promotional stock or allocation, TAPDX may state that availability is limited. If the advertised promotional item becomes unavailable despite reasonable planning, TAPDX may, where appropriate and permitted by law, offer a comparable alternative or another reasonable resolution.
TAPDX will not intentionally advertise a promotional benefit that it does not intend to provide.
8. Delivery promotions
TAPDX may offer free or reduced delivery as a promotional benefit.
A delivery promotion may be linked to an order value, product, collection, campaign, customer group, event, activation, promotional period or other qualifying condition. The applicable offer will determine when the delivery benefit applies.
A free-delivery threshold or delivery benefit offered during one period does not create a permanent right to the same delivery offer in future.
TAPDX may therefore introduce different delivery promotions over time, including temporary free-delivery campaigns, product-specific delivery offers or other delivery benefits, without permanently changing the underlying Delivery and Shipping Policy.
9. Promotional and reward credit
TAPDX may issue promotional or reward credit as one form of promotional benefit.
The applicable offer may determine the amount or value of the credit, how it is earned, when it becomes available, the products or transactions to which it may be applied, whether it can be combined with another offer and any validity or redemption period that applies.
There is no universal TAPDX promotional-credit value and these Terms do not restrict TAPDX to any particular current reward amount.
Unless the applicable offer expressly states otherwise or the law requires otherwise, promotional or reward credit is not withdrawable as cash, cannot be exchanged for cash and does not create a monetary refund entitlement.
Promotional or reward credit must also be distinguished from Store Credit representing customer value returned under another TAPDX policy. Store Credit arising from returned customer value is governed by the applicable TAPDX payment, pricing and Store Credit rules, and does not automatically acquire the conditions of a promotional reward merely because both may be used toward a purchase.
Similarly, a promotional reward does not automatically acquire the characteristics of Store Credit representing returned customer value.
10. Validity and expiry
A promotional benefit may have a validity or expiry period where the applicable promotion provides for one.
Different campaigns may have different validity periods. TAPDX therefore does not impose one universal expiry rule on every referral reward, promotional credit, activation benefit, gift, access benefit or other promotion.
Where a particular benefit expires, the applicable offer or reward information should identify the relevant validity period or expiry condition.
The expiry of one type of promotional value does not mean that every other TAPDX credit, benefit or customer balance is subject to the same expiry rule.
Receiving a benefit with a particular validity period once also does not create a right to the same validity period in future campaigns.
11. Combining promotions
TAPDX may allow some promotional benefits to be combined and may require other benefits to be used separately.
The conditions of the relevant promotion, together with the checkout rules where applicable, will determine whether benefits may be combined.
TAPDX may, for example, choose to allow a promotional credit to be used during a free-delivery campaign, allow a gift to accompany another benefit or create a campaign in which more than one promotional advantage deliberately works together.
The fact that TAPDX permits a particular combination on one occasion does not mean that all future promotions must be combined.
Where more than one benefit is potentially available for the same transaction, TAPDX may determine the order in which qualifying benefits are applied and which combinations are permitted, provided the customer receives the benefit validly available under the applicable offer.
12. Orders that are cancelled, reversed or unwound
Where a promotional reward exists because of a particular qualifying transaction, that reward may depend on the qualifying transaction remaining valid.
If the transaction that generated the promotional benefit is cancelled, reversed, lawfully refunded, credited, found not to have completed or otherwise lawfully unwound, TAPDX may reverse an unspent promotional benefit that existed solely because of that transaction.
For example, where a referral reward is earned only because a referred customer's qualifying purchase was completed, the related unspent referral reward may cease to be valid if the underlying qualifying transaction is subsequently lawfully unwound.
This does not give TAPDX a general right to remove unrelated promotional value or Store Credit that a customer has legitimately earned through another transaction or process.
Where promotional credit has been applied to an order that does not ultimately complete, TAPDX may release the value back to the customer where it was merely reserved and was not genuinely consumed, subject to the applicable promotion's validity rules.
13. Duplicate benefits, technical errors and obvious mistakes
A technical retry, duplicated event, page refresh, repeated payment notification, duplicated order or other system event does not create an entitlement to multiple copies of the same promotional benefit where only one benefit was genuinely earned.
TAPDX may correct an obvious duplication, calculation mistake, publication error, pricing error, system error or campaign-configuration error.
This provision does not give TAPDX unrestricted authority to withdraw a genuine benefit simply because the promotion later becomes commercially inconvenient.
Where an error materially affects a customer who reasonably relied on an advertised offer, TAPDX will consider the circumstances, the nature of the error and any applicable consumer rights when determining an appropriate resolution.
14. Misuse of promotional benefits
TAPDX may withhold, reverse or cancel a promotional benefit where there is reasonable evidence that the benefit was created or obtained through deliberate manipulation, duplicate claiming, artificial transactions, false qualifying activity, prohibited self-referral, technical exploitation, fraud or other material misuse of the applicable promotion.
Where reasonably necessary, TAPDX may verify that the qualifying activity genuinely occurred before confirming a promotional benefit.
Any verification should be proportionate to the nature and value of the promotion. TAPDX does not intend to turn routine, low-value customer rewards into unnecessary administrative approval processes.
A genuine customer complaint, return, cancellation, support request, privacy request, dispute or exercise of a consumer right does not by itself constitute misuse of a promotional programme.
15. Personal and transferable benefits
Where a reward or promotional benefit is issued to a particular customer or customer account, it is personal to that customer unless the relevant promotion expressly allows it to be transferred, gifted or shared.
A referral link may naturally be shared where sharing is the purpose of the referral programme. That does not mean that a reward already earned by the referring customer is automatically transferable to another person.
TAPDX may also create future promotions that expressly permit gifting or transfer. Where it does so, the applicable offer will determine how that feature works.
16. Activations, events and partner promotions
TAPDX may create specific promotional benefits for exhibitions, workshops, conferences, masterclasses, retail activations, product launches, trade fairs, speaking events, pop-ups, partner campaigns, community events and other physical or digital experiences.
An activation or event may have its own qualifying activity, promotional code, benefit, availability, dates, location, allocation or redemption period.
Participation in one activation does not create an entitlement to the same benefit at a future activation.
TAPDX may also run promotions with brands, venues, event organisers, creators, businesses, communities and other partners. Any material partner-specific conditions will be communicated as part of the relevant campaign where necessary.
The involvement of a partner in a particular promotion does not make TAPDX responsible for that partner's unrelated obligations, nor does it make the partner responsible for unrelated TAPDX obligations.
17. Early access, Priority Access and limited releases
TAPDX may offer early access, Priority Access, advance ordering or other access-related benefits in connection with a launch, collection or limited release.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, an access benefit gives the customer the stated opportunity to access the relevant offer. It does not guarantee unlimited stock or permanent availability.
Where additional terms apply to a Limited Edition, Drop or Priority Access release, those terms will apply together with these Terms.
18. Buy-and-get offers, bundles and spend-based offers
TAPDX may run promotions in which purchasing a stated quantity, purchasing a bundle, reaching a qualifying order value or completing another stated purchase condition produces an additional benefit.
The relevant promotion will explain what qualifies and what the customer receives.
An additional promotional product or benefit does not automatically have a separate cash value that a customer may demand instead, unless the applicable offer expressly provides for a cash alternative or the law requires a different outcome.
TAPDX may change future bundle structures, qualifying spends, gift thresholds and promotional values as its merchandising and commercial strategy develops.
19. Promotional competitions
A guaranteed promotional benefit and a promotional competition are not necessarily the same thing.
Where TAPDX runs a campaign in which a prize or winner depends on chance, a draw, random selection or another competition mechanism, separate competition rules may be published for that promotion.
Those rules may deal with matters such as eligibility, entry, the competition period, how the result is determined, prize details and how a successful participant receives the prize.
Where a customer completes a stated qualifying action and is guaranteed to receive the stated benefit, TAPDX may treat that as an ordinary promotional offer rather than presenting it as a chance-to-win competition.
20. The underlying order terms still apply
A promotional benefit does not remove the ordinary rules applicable to the product or transaction to which it relates.
Depending on the purchase or activity, the TAPDX Terms of Sale, Cancellation and Returns Policy, Delivery and Shipping Policy, payment and Store Credit rules, Pre-Order Policy, Custom and Bulk Order Policy and any other applicable product or campaign terms may continue to apply.
A discount, free product, promotional credit, referral benefit or other promotion does not reduce any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. TAPDX will recognise validly earned benefits
TAPDX retains the commercial freedom to change its future promotional strategy, but that freedom is not intended to allow TAPDX simply to erase a benefit after a customer has genuinely and validly earned it.
A validly earned benefit will be recognised according to the promotion under which it was earned, subject to any stated validity period, qualifying conditions, lawful transaction reversal, genuine error, misuse and any applicable legal requirements.
This principle allows TAPDX to continue experimenting with different promotional models while giving customers clarity about benefits they have already earned.
22. Promotional testing and different customer offers
TAPDX is a growing business and may test different reward values, promotional mechanics, customer benefits, qualifying activities, bundles, referral structures, delivery offers, activation formats and other commercial approaches.
A promotion tested with one product, campaign, location, event, customer group or period does not create an obligation to offer the same promotion universally or permanently.
Where an offer is presented to a customer, the terms applicable to that offer will determine the customer's entitlement.
23. Clear promotional communication
TAPDX aims to communicate promotional offers in a way that makes the material commercial proposition reasonably clear.
Depending on the nature of the offer, this may include identifying what the customer receives, what needs to be done to qualify, when the promotion applies, whether a qualifying purchase or action is required, whether the benefit has a validity period, whether availability is limited and whether other material restrictions apply.
Simple promotions do not need to become unnecessarily complicated merely because they are promotional. The amount of information presented should remain appropriate to the nature of the offer while still making its material conditions clear.
24. Changes to these Terms
TAPDX may update these standing Rewards, Referral and Promotional Benefits Terms as the business and its promotional programmes develop.
Changes to these Terms will generally apply to future offers. A later version does not automatically remove a promotional benefit that was validly earned under an earlier applicable offer.
Where TAPDX introduces a materially different promotional model, separate or additional campaign terms may be used where that is clearer than expanding these standing Terms unnecessarily.
25. Contact us
Questions about a TAPDX reward, referral or promotional benefit may be sent to hello@tapdxtags.com.
Where possible, customers should include enough information for TAPDX to identify the relevant order, referral, offer, activation or campaign.
The TAPDX promotional approach
TAPDX uses rewards and promotional benefits to create additional customer value and to support genuine customer advocacy, discovery, referrals, acquisition, retention, launches, activations, partnerships, community participation and business growth.
The specific promotion determines what the customer receives and what is required to qualify. Different promotions may therefore have different commercial rules.
A promotion offered today does not have to remain available forever. TAPDX may create new reward and promotional models as the business develops, may deliberately allow certain promotions to work together, and may change the structure of future offers.
At the same time, a promotional framework should remain fair to customers. Benefits that have been validly earned should be dealt with according to the offer under which they were earned, and genuine customer participation should not be confused with artificial duplication or manipulation.
The purpose of these Terms is therefore to protect the integrity of TAPDX promotions without preventing TAPDX from continuing to create commercially useful, customer-friendly ways of rewarding participation and growing the TAPDX community.
